Fedcap’s Career Advance program for homeless individuals addresses the main barriers that hinder the homeless population from obtaining, retaining, and advancing in employment.
Fedcap’s Career Advance – Homeless program provides supportive services, opportunities for educational and vocational training, job search and work readiness training, and successful job placement to homeless individuals residing in the Bronx and Manhattan.
Participants work with a comprehensive team including Career Coaches, Job Placement Specialists, and a Housing Specialist who assists with navigating the housing application/voucher process and liaises with DHS staff and case workers. Individuals also have access to clothing resources
Participants are referred to our Career Advance – Homeless program through NYC’s Human Resources Administration (HRA).
