Our DC Job Placement program under the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program assists adults and their families in enhancing their employment preparedness levels to be successful in obtaining and maintaining employment. Following employment, program services assist participants in effectively moving toward greater levels of self-sufficiency, by engaging them in activities that help increase earnings and decrease dependency on public assistance.
Participants are referred to our DC JP program through Washington, DC’s Department of Health and Human Services.

Our EOT program, under the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program assists adults and their families in enhancing their education and occupational skill levels to prepare to seek and retain employment through a tailored, clear, and sector-based Career Pathway. Activities include work readiness soft skills enhancement, and referrals to external training/education providers, including employer-based or vocational training in high-growth sectors.
