Ron Torok is a Managing Director with Raven Capital Management where he is responsible for transaction origination, structuring, execution, portfolio management and workout.
Mr. Torok previously was a Managing Director in the Global Credit and Special Situations Group of Bank of America, where he was responsible for a segment of fixed income special situation and distressed investments and trading. He managed relationships with a broad base of hedge fund professionals, and legal and financial restructuring advisors. He also spent seven years in Eastern Europe as an advisor in corporate finance and turnaround financial management for lower middle market American joint ventures.
Mr. Torok also serves as a board member of TruFund Financial Services, which aims to stimulate economic development in underserved communities by providing innovative financial solutions and hands-on technical assistance to small businesses and nonprofit associations. He is an adjunct professor of undergraduate corporate finance in the Economics Department of Queens College in New York City. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Binghamton University and MBA in Business and Finance from Columbia Business School.
